The Forty Hours Adoration Devotion is a special forty-hour period of continuous prayer made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition. While All Saints’ Day celebrates the holy men and women in Heaven, All Souls’ Day honors all of the faithful departed on November 2. In some countries, such as Mexico, people know All Souls’ Day as the second day of “Día de Los Muertos.” To celebrate this feast, our Hispanic Ministry will be setting up traditional altars in the parish hall beginning next Sunday, October 29th.
