After a year of serving here at St. Francis, I come to share the good news of how our parish family doing. I am required to share our financial situation and I am happy to do so. Many think money is the most important measure of church life. In that regard, we are doing fine. All the bills have been paid, including the new HVAC system for the church, and we still have some money in the bank. Thank you for your generosity! 

But there are other numbers that delight me even more as a pastor. There have been so many blessings here over the last year. We almost TRIPLED the number of liturgical ministers from 77 to 226. The number of students in our Faith Formation program grew slightly from 247 to 283. The most delightful is seeing the number of sacraments celebrated, 61 Baptisms, 66 First Communions, 60 Confirmations and 12 Marriages. How good it is to have so many blessings in our midst. 

I thank God in my prayers every day for this parish. Our parish is growing. Thank you for being part of our parish family. Thank you for participating in the life of the parish and receiving the graces that the Lord wants to give us in his great love. May God continue to fill us with his mercy and grace!

¡GRACIAS! ¡GRACIAS! ¡GRACIAS! 

Después de un año de servir aquí en San Francisco, vengo a compartir las buenas noticias de cómo le va a nuestra familia parroquial. Debo compartir nuestra situación financiera y estoy feliz de hacerlo. Muchos piensan que el dinero es la medida más importante de la vida de la iglesia. En ese sentido vamos bien. Se han pagado todas las facturas, incluido el nuevo sistema HVAC de la iglesia, y todavía tenemos algo de dinero en el banco. ¡Gracias por su generosidad! 

Pero hay otros números que me deleitan aún más como pastor. Ha habido tantas bendiciones aquí durante el último año. Casi TRIPLICAMOS el número de ministros litúrgicos de 77 a 226. El número de estudiantes en nuestro programa de Formación de Fe aumentó ligeramente de 247 a 283. Lo más maravilloso es ver el número de sacramentos celebrados, 61 Bautismos, 66 Primeras Comuniones, 60 Confirmaciones y 12 Matrimonios. Qué bueno es tener tantas bendiciones entre nosotros. 

Doy gracias a Dios en mis oraciones todos los días por esta parroquia. Nuestra parroquia está creciendo. Gracias por ser parte de nuestra familia parroquial. Gracias por participar en la vida de la parroquia y recibir las gracias que el Señor quiere darnos en su gran amor. ¡Que Dios nos siga llenando de su misericordia y gracia!
